Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow! Praise Him all creatures here below! Praise Him above ye heavenly host! Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost! AMEN.
Do the words of the Doxology sound familiar?
We sing praises to God for God’s blessings, and we affirm in our singing that God’s blessings are intended to flow – yet do they flow through us without the incumbrance of self-centeredness? Do they flow through us without reservation? Or do we dam up the blessings because, after all they are ours!
Prayer: Lord, allow Your blessings to flow through me without the incumbrance of my own selfish desires. Make me a conduit of Your goodness in the world! In the name of our Lord, Who held nothing back for Himself but gave us His all, Jesus Christ the Righteous. AMEN
