Isaiah 43:18-21:

Do not remember the former things,
    or consider the things of old.
19 I am about to do a new thing;
    now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
    and rivers in the desert.
20 The wild animals will honor me,
    the jackals and the ostriches;
for I give water in the wilderness,
    rivers in the desert,
to give drink to my chosen people,
21     the people whom I formed for myself
so that they might declare my praise.

These words were spoken to a shattered people in exile. But God is doing a new thing if the people choose to accept it. Read the entire chapter to see how precious these humans are to God…..and the choice they now have to make. Isaiah 43

Prayer: Eternal God, I thank You that you are the God of endless possibilities and new beginnings. I thank You that You are both willing and able to take the shattered lives – and indeed our shattered world – and redeem and recreate us for Your purpose and glory. Lord, help me to choose to become a willing part of this glorious new creation You have planned. All in the name of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus. AMEN.
