I have chosen to wait a while to reflect on RBG and her passing, but I see in her evidence of God’s mission lived out in the world as she stood for the voiceless, the marginalized, the lost and forgotten.
Prayer:
Lord, we pray today for those who have persevered in serving you until their last breaths. Most particularly we remember Your beloved child, Ruth Bader Ginsberg. We give thanks for her life; a life lived for the betterment of others and not for herself. We ask for the wisdom to understand what You would have us to learn from her, so that we, too, might persevere in our living lives in service to the vulnerable among us as well. We ask these things all in the name of Your Son Jesus, and through the power of the Holy Spirit Who gives us the strength to so live. AMEN.
