How long are we willing to walk with those who struggle without displaying any sense of condescension or judgment? How much responsibility are we willing to assume for the compassionate care of the other humans who share this planet with us? As much as Jesus? His compassionate care walked Him all the way to the cross – yet life on the other side of that cross is the life of love for all. I believe perhaps making the “Jesus walk” is what makes life truly worth living.
Come Holy Spirit. Lead me in the way of life that Jesus lived. Infill me with compassion for all humanity regardless of circumstance so that I can truly be used by You to bring joy and empowerment to all. Let me never be found guilty of causing others to choose a lesser life. Help us choose to walk God’s best life together. All in the name of Jesus. AMEN.
